PROGRAM FEES (5 DAY SCHOOLS)
No goaltending experience required!
A progressive student is generally between the ages of 7 and 11. Depending on a goalie’s age and skill set, he or she will be grouped accordingly. Progressive goaltenders will be challenged daily, working on the importance of fundamentals, and work ethic.
We see a pattern at this age- goalies are often trained too quickly, with almost no emphasis on the importance of things like skating, puck tracking and rebound control. This develops poor habits that need correcting. We take our time and explain things in terms that young goalies will understand. The pace of the progressive level will be challenging on your young goaltender, but rest assured, they will come away from a week with us feeling incredibly confident in their abilities!
An advanced student knows the ropes! Generally between the ages of 12 and 17, we expect our advanced students to come into camp ready to work! Skating skills will be refined, save selection and play reads will be prevalent every single day. Advanced students will be challenged greatly, both mentally and physically to bring out the best in their game. Goalies can expect a fast paced, game-like atmosphere every single time they step on the ice, with an incredible amount of repetition.
